Ontime Application Privacy Policy
This statement and the policy outlined herein are not intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
For the purposes of this Statement, Wilson includes:
Wilson Security Pty Ltd (ACN 127 406 295).
By downloading and using the Wilson’s Ontime Application, Wilson collects your personal information for the purposes of:
- your ongoing employment, and
- record-keeping purposes when your employment ends.
Please note that if your personal information relates to your current or former employment with Wilson, Wilson is exempt from applying the Australian Privacy Principles. Notwithstanding that, we will still endeavour to take reasonable care in protecting your personal information.
We collect and hold the following types of information through the use of the Ontime application:
- The time of completing a shift sign-on & sign off and GPS coordinates of the location at which this action is completed.
How We Use and Store Your Personal Information
We use this information to:
- Report and monitor our commercial, compliance and service delivery obligations.
The captured data is stored in our rostering application which is subject to company data retention and deletion policies.
Sharing your personal information
We may need to share your information, including information we receive during your employment with people or organisations based overseas. The most common reason for disclosure is because Wilson contracts third party overseas organisations to support our operational teams on its behalf. We only disclose your information to these when it is necessary for the services they provide to Wilson. Services include but are not limited to operational compliance and service delivery reporting activities. Currently, these people or organisations are based in The Philippines.
When doing so we will comply with applicable data privacy requirements and take appropriate safeguards to ensure the security and integrity of your personal information.
Correcting and accessing your personal information
You have a right to:
- request access to the information we hold about you,
- to seek correction or deletion of your information, and
- to lodge a complaint if you have concerns about how we have handled your information.

If you believe your privacy has been compromised or we've breached the Privacy Act and you would like to make a complaint, you can contact us at humanresources@wilsongroupau.com. We will do our best to resolve any issue you may have within a reasonable timeframe.
If you are not satisfied with our response to your complaint, you may raise any concerns directly with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). The OAIC is the independent national regulator for privacy and freedom of information.
